VII ° International Moto Meeting City' of Mascali “Earth of Sicily”.

The countdown goes off in sight of the International Moto Meeting " City of Mascali - Earth of Sicily", scheduled from 26 to June 29 next. The event organized by the Moto Club Jonico of Mascali (CT), presided by Giuseppe Lo Giudice, has reached the seventh edition growing year after year, in number of participants, in quality of the run and for events connected. Thanks to the Moto Meeting that the Team Etneo has succeeded in acquiring out a wide notoriety, thanks to this event that joined the passion for the two wheels with the pleasure to make tourism in some of the most beautiful centers in oriental Sicily. Since 2002, year of the first moto meeting, many fanatics have chosen to take part to this event and the last edition has recorded around 2000 bikers coming from many Italian Regions and other Countries as well. The edition 2008 becomes wealthy anchor, thanks to a tour that will go out of the province in Catania touching also the provinces of Enna, Syracuse and Messina.

Thursday 26 June
The Moto meeting will start from Mascali, will leave the coast to move inside of Sicily, till to arrive to Enna, the tallest chief of province in Europe with its 935 meters high. All participants can visit the Castle of Lombardy and admiring the splendid panorama of the city. Motorbikes will move to Pergusa for lunch and the the possibility for everybody of limestone the footstep that entertains some of the greatest Sicilian moto events. In the late afternoon move back to Mascali to end the evening " Arab" for all the participants.

Friday 27 June
The tour will continue the following day with the visit to the splendid Syracuse where it can be possible to admire and breath the air that brings back to " the Greek " era. The island of Ortigia will welcome the motorbikes whit its typical little streets the splendid Cathedral and the Catacombs and the possibility of a little boat tour of the island. Before returning to Mascali, the possibility for everybody to make a turn of footstep of the Circuit in Syracuse. In the evening to Mascali, space to the Sicilian folklore with tastings of local typical products.

Saturday June 28 th
The tallest volcano in Europe, the Etna, will welcome the participants to the Moto meeting. "Climbing” along the roads of the Volcano, we will reach some of the characteristic little villages like Piedimonte Etneo, Linguaglossa, Piano Provenzano, Zafferana Etnea, till to reach 2000 meters high. We will also visit Sicily in miniature and at the same time two museums of the art Sicilian. After that we will reach Catania, till to reach the main street, Etnea street, the heart of Baroque, to continue the parade along the coast of the Cyclopses. After the reentry to the" general quartier" of Mascali, a rich supper will welcome the bikers and the evening will continue to the disco Marabù of Giardini Naxos.

Sanday 29 June
The last day, is dedicated to the sea. The parade will move to direction Messina, to arrive in Letojanni, admiring the Isola Bella and the splendid Taormina. A little break and then moving in direction Giardini Naxos, first Greek colony in Sicily, where there will have lunch in presence of Carlo Kaneba, a Sicilian Comic. The conclusive ceremony of the tour will take place with the delivery of plates, cups and diplomas to all the affiliates to the Moto meeting.
